What the Heck are we thinking?

Ok, for those of you that wonder, "what would we do if a water pipe burst in our basement and created a mini swimming pool?" Well, interesting question-and the answer is you go

So, last June we had a pipe burst in the basement. This led to well lets go ahead and remodel the basement because we were thinking about that anyway. To meeting with our contractor and well, since you have the basement open the main living floor is just a hop skip and a jump away. To what the heck lets do the whole house. After much waiting for the long, long, long, long winter to get over with (by the way it snowed in the mountains yesterday) we got things going on our remodel. Here is some of the progress.

We reversed the stairs, Created a new living room, an in general just went crazy!!!!

We apologize for slowing down on our blog postings. I know for some of you that was a relief and for others that were waiting patiently everyday looking for that new posting from the Hammonds - well you are in luck, today is your day. We will follow up with more pictures as the house progresses. They say we will be done some time at the end of July (here's to hopin)
