Merry Christmas

Wow, this was the best Christmas ever. It started off kind of early because Jacob woke us up at 4:30 am. He kindly told us it was 6:30 so we started to get up. I did this to my parents when I was younger (that karma really stinks sometimes) The kids were so excited to see if Santa had dropped by. He did, and the gifts were immediatly put to good use. Jacob received a gift that he has been dreaming about for the last 11 months. (A Star Wars - Star Destroyer lego ship) It has over 2,000 pieces and it took Jacob six hours to put together. Totally worth it if you ask Jacob.

Now some of you who have young girls have probably heard of Hannah Montana. She is the most awesomest, totally cool, wonderful character on the Disney Channel, according to Jayden. She got this touring bus which plays songs, stores clothes, and just is really fun. This was a big hit and will be well used for years to come.

Ok, so Jackson liked pretty much anything that was put in front of him. He polished off as much candy as possible and then tried to help his brother and sister by lightening their candy load. They didn't think that was helpful, but he sure did.

We spent the day together as a family inside, and pretty much kept our pajamas on all day as it snowed six inches outside. The kids played and played and played and played. Mom and Dad were fading by mid afternoon and finally passed out from exhaustion. We took a nap with Jackson and told the older two to not burn the house down. It was a wonderful Christmas and we hope to have many more of these to come.
